Comments: My Dad purchased gray lucite bag for my mom, I've had it for years and treasure it. Never knew how/where. Found it through ebay out of curiosity. They can't remember when he purchased it but they are happily married 56 years and always lived in NJ. so we are guessing for an anniversary since he wrote I love you on the mirror when he gave it to her! How lucky I am as their daughter to have such a fine piece of art that your ancestor's designed, but also an amazing memory of my still very happily married parents! Finding this sight has been such a treat! Thank you for getting this up and running and filling in the gaps of this bag I have always LOVED! They don't make shapes or bags like this one anymore! I treasure it!

Comments: Wonderful website. Thank you for taking the time to not only honor the work of your father and grandfather but also to provide information for those of us who enjoy collecting. I was born in 1971 and just purchased my first lot of 10 vintage lucite handbags. It was great to find your site with the history of the bags. The pictures are wonderful and I love the old catalog! It is very exciting and reminds me why I love to collect pieces with history.

Comments: I was shopping today and found the Swiss Cheese Wedge with a gold tone mouse on top. I was wondering why these were made. Were they for a store promotion or some other kind of give-away? Or did you have a series of novelty items?
I would love to be able to pass on any information you can share.
Thanks and it was fun looking through your site. I love the handbags. I'll be looking for them in my future shopping trips! Amy

Comments: I found a beautiful pearl Wilardy clutch purse at a vintage store in Waikiki back in the mid 80's & immediately fell in love with it. Although the mirror inside was cracked, I still purchased it. It remains one of my most favorite vintage finds & I still use it when it suits the occasion.

Comments: I have a Wilardy lucite purse that is round and covered in rhinestones. The handle is also covered in rhinestones. The lid has velevet flowers/vines and velevet grapes. The lucite is white pearlized. The mirror is cloudy in spots, but other than that it is in great shape. I want to sell, but do not know where or how much. Any suggestions.
